"My first trip to Mexico - beautiful beaches, a wonderful resort with excellent amenities but the highlight of my trip was the cooking class!!
Chef Claudia and her assistants did a marvelous job of demonstrating techniques, sharing secrets, and provided a menu of authentic foods from various regions of Mexico. The setting was small enough so that I felt I was part of the action and it built camaraderie among the students. The food and beverages were excellent. If you enjoy cooking, or enjoy eating (!!) I highly recommend this as a part of your Mexican vacation experience." cookieBJF
"From the time my friend and I came in the door we were grandly welcomed and wonderfully fed. The food was so deliciousl and Chef Claudia's instructions and history of the foods. She taught us her own handed down recipes. I learned so much, but the one thing that stands out is how to use mole in cooking, and how many types of chilis there are and how to use and identify them among the many things presented. The kitchen setting was so beautiful and Cat was a great host. I can't wait to go back next year to see what's cooking. Besides being fed snacks and making our own tortillas, we had a great feast at the end of the day eating the food that was prepared. My husband wants to come next year too. Thanks for the wonderful presentation." Kathleen Meyer
"We loved our day spent at The Little Mexican Cooking School. My husband & I were students in their very first class and it was one of the high points of our trip. We were impressed with our Mexican Chef, a delightful woman named Claudia who had her professional training at the famous Culinary Institute of America in NYC. Much of what she taught us however, was passed on to her by her nanny growing up in Mexico. We watched her work, and enjoyed eating her masterpieces...in addition to the warm memories we have of another great day in Mexico, we took home her cookbook so we can continue to relive the day when we recreate her dishes in our own kitchen.." "Claudia was AMAZING!!! She was good at explaining what she was doing, answering all questions and introducing us to the ingredients that we would be using (including where to look for them once we returned home). She taught us a lot about the food of the area and country, but she also taught us a lot about the culture and customs of Mexico. Claudia Rocks!" RB8, Canada
"... it was like being invited into someone's home for a wonderful dinner. Claudia is a true professional and her love of the food and the culture came shining through. ... Cat is a charming and sharing host ... I would definitely attend again." Meryl Arenstein, West Orange NJ
"We had a wonderful time. Claudia made this cooking class an adventure. Telling us stories about herself and Mexico. This was a hands on class for those who wanted to do more than just watch and learn. As a wonderful keepsake she gave each one of us an Apron that says "The Little Mexican Cooking School" on it. I can't wait to wear it at my next dinner party." Sailinggal, TN
